Its such a nostalgic place, where I made so many good friends, Learnt so much and saw so many put their heart and soul in to a project which has made such a huge impact.
I was sad to leave this place just for the passion that is there, passion which i still have and will take with me, yet knowing its in good hands and changing all the time.
I'm sure many people won't know me, but that's the great part, all the new people (with the help of those Cafe veterans) your the ones who will keep this running, keep the energy up and keep ideas coming in.
When the university Finally ( who knows when) realises the importance of students needing a place to be in the new building; mixing , talking, sharing. A space to just be; to meet, to chat; cheap food , company and freedom of thought; Then, who knows what students will achieve.. but really we all love a good battle it makes us as determined and powerful as we should be.
One day they will bow down to the the power of the people!
In the mean time... Know that YOU make the change and change all you can !
I'll be watching over you all with the pride which this little place has brought to us all!
I'll be jealous I didn't see the Cafe to its one year anniversary.
But I'll celebrate with a cheese and ham Toastie :)
All the best!
Rosanna
( Someone now needs to take over this blogging thing with better grammer than me ...)
